The PCC and a small group of people interested in/connected with our youth work are busy drawing together the "pack" of info for people applying, and we already have youth workers eager to find out more.
We want our new youth worker to "Help our young people make a difference" and "Empower our young people and their leaders to become more like Jesus". Here's your chance to make a welcoming comment to applicants. Just press the "comment" button and type away, something along the lines of "please join us so that ...." or "we're excited about our new youth worker coming because ..."

What would church look like if it truly valued and incorporated everyone from the youngest to the oldest. What would it look like if genuine friendships were self-evident across every generation?
The idea begins as we gather networks of people praying together, where each prayer "triplet" is made up of three generations - a young person, someone from the church in their parent's generation and someone from the church in their grandparent's generation.
Then each group of three meets less regularly with two other groups (9 people) to identify common themes - feeding these into the church's main leadership decisions.
If each group were praying for each generation's hopes for the church made real for each generation - think about what might emerge?

We've already identified a few people who may "prime the pump" of this idea, but what about you? What are your thoughts?
