i think the youth worker should know how importent is to pray for situations that arise. i think they also need to have a good knolage of the bible so they can always back there advice up with it. I think they would need to be the kind of person who can see the wider picture so we can get a variaty of points of views on differnt topics.

This is a great idea i cant think how many times i wanted to and speak to someone but everyone else has been busy. I think the youth worker should be honist with the youth in difficult circumstances and have a good knolage of the bible to back his points up

we need someone to work WITH us! we need someone who can channel our talents into somehing useful. We want to be seen as more than just 'the youth', we want to be part of our church family. we want to be able to serve God and our church in the big things and the small; the big things are great but the small things are importnat to. We need someone who will see our weaknesses and faults yet use us all the same. we need someone who can understand us (as much as possible) and help us to grow.

we would like a youth worker who...
is always availible for us to talk to, and to help us.
someone who we can relate to.
someone who can teach us, encourage us, challenge us.
someone who will get to know us and what makes us tick.
some one who will take the lead but still listen to our ideas.
somone who will take what we already have and expand it.
oh and someone who makes good hot chocolate!
